With eight units located on the north shore of Big Sand Lake, and one on the east shore of North Twin Lake, you'll be sure to find the cottage that fits your needs. Whether you are alone, or in a group ... looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, or just need a change of scenery ... this is truly the place for you. Relax, read, lay back, and smell the pines on the shore of a pristine lake. Enjoy an abundance of wildlife, wild flowers, loons, eagles, and of course marvelous fishing. Within a 20 mile radius you will find antique shops, bike and snowmobile trails, golf course, horseback riding, cross-country and downhill skiing, casino's, go-cart racing, gift shops, theatres, candy shops, and other stores and shopping in abundance ... as well as excellent dining in our many wonderful restaurants and pubs.

 

The Lakes:

Big Sand Lake is a 1400-acre lake with over 60% of its shoreline natural (and fishermen should note the 60' deep hole on the east-end). Fish include trophy musky, walleye, large & small mouth bass, crappies, northern pike, perch, and blue gills.

North Twin Lake is a 2800 acre lake known for it's trophy walleyes, and trophy muskies. South Twin is connected to North Twin and contains panfish and northerns.

Both lakes are large, and have plenty of room. Water recreation includes swimming, fishing, water skiing, jet skiing, and sailing.

Each has a large accessible boat landing with ample parking.

 

All cottages include: VCR, TV, Microwave, Full Kitchen with modern, up-to-date Appliances, Utensils (tableware,pots & pans etc.), Charcoal Grills, Picnic Tables, Free Firewood - where fireplace is provided, Private Piers 40' to 90' long, Extra Freezers (see descriptions), Fish Cleaning Facilities, Free 14' alum. Boat with each unit, 6-horse and 9.5-horse motors available at extra cost plus gas. Blankets, Pillows, & Bed Pads are provided, however, we do not furnish sheets, pillowcases, or towels. And unfortunately, no pets are allowed.

LOWER APARTMENT:

• $600.00 per week for 2 guests.
• $650.00 per week for 3 or 4 guests.


UPPER HOME UNIT:
(May thru Sept )
• $825.00 per week for up to 4 guests.


ADDITIONAL GUESTS: (Over 4 guests, all seasons)
• $50.00 per day per adult or youth over 12 yrs, or $150.00 per week.
• $40.00. per day per child under 12 years of age, or $90.00 per week.
• Children under 5 FREE.

The C. H. Meyer home is a great vacation unit for a large family or friends getting together. Rent the total unit as a package of 10 to 14 guests for $1800.00 per week.

SHORTWEEK RATES: (Off season: October and November)
• $95.00 per couple per day.
• $155.00 per day for up to 4 people.

DEPOSIT:
• $100.00 per week for lower or upper rental unit.
• $50.00 for weekends or partial week.
• $500.00 for a total rental of both upper and lower units.

Please pay accounts by noon on Friday at Arnie Gink's home (house next door to the West.
All Cancellation notices must be given 10 weeks before reserved date to receive full deposit return. No deposits will be returned for weekend or partial week reservations.
